Export and import administration

Different divisions within Oreport, each specialising in specific export administrative functions, manage the transfer and delivery of goods. At key points, our Johannesburg-based office is involved in co-ordinating:

Port management

Based in Richard's Bay East Coast Maritime, a division of Oreport, is responsible for all other Southern African ports and handles loading, clearing and forwarding and cargo management responsibilities, such as:

• Super cargo
• Pad storage
• Transportation to vessel side
• Stevedoring and quay separations of various parcels

Technology

Oreport operates an on-line communication system and takes responsibility to keep updated with technological advances such as Electronic Data Interchanges (EDI) and business-to-business commerce principles.
